WHY WE STARTED T-SPIRE
T-Spire was inspired by my family’s journey and the resilience that shaped our story. My parents immigrated to the United States with very little, facing significant financial challenges as they built a new life from the ground up. Despite these hardships, my dad discovered a passion for golf. Without the ability to afford expensive equipment or formal training, he practiced with basic, inexpensive clubs and taught himself the game through dedication, patience, and relentless determination.
Over time, his commitment helped him grow into a skilled golfer, and more importantly, the game became something meaningful that connected our family. He eventually passed his love for golf on to me, teaching me how to play when I was just five years old. Growing up with the sport has taught me valuable lessons about discipline, perseverance, and confidence—lessons that extend far beyond the course. Through T-Spire, I hope to honor my family’s journey by giving underprivileged children at various foundations the same opportunities, guidance, and sense of possibility that golf has given us, helping them build confidence and belief in their own potential.
